Benissa is very proud with their Gothic Cathedral, the biggest cathedral in the province. Just next to it we have medieval part of the old town, very impressive well maintained historical buildings. Benissa is an ideal shopping spot, with plenty of small shops offering local hand made goods and a lot more. Every Saturday large market takes place, you can stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables.
Very interesting coastal road allows you to drive between the sea and small hills with lemon or orange trees. La Fustera this is the name for the biggest beach in Benissa as well as small settlement with detached houses wit great seaviews. For the more active people we would recommend walk along the sea shore, where you can discover many different small bays ideal for sea fishing or just relaxing by the sea. If you carry on walking you will reach Moraira going north or Calpe going south.
Villas or houses in the region are build on plots of land no smaller then 800m2, this is the local government rule between Calpe and Moraira to prevent overpopulating the area.
